How insane is the colour of this fudge! Black tahini is simply made from the grinding of black sesame seeds into a smooth, rich paste. A slightly sharper taste to it’s paler cousin, pairing it with coconut oil, rice malt syrup and sea salt make the most decadent smooth and silky fudge – it’s a serious crowd pleaser.
Ingredients
1 cup black tahini
⅓ cup rice malt syrup
½ cup coconut oil
1 pinch sea salt
Method
1. Combine tahini, rice malt syrup and coconut oil in a small pot on a low heat. Stir until glossy and no lumps remain.
2. Pour into a loaf tin lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with sea salt and place in the freezer for 1 hour to set.
3. Slice into squares and store in the freezer or fridge for a softer consistency.
