All praise the Super K!! This leafy green – super food packs a nutritional punch and does wonders for the bod.
Why we love kale? Kale is super high in calcium, containing more calcium per calorie than a glass of milk! Who would have thought?! It’s high in Iron which is fundamental to the function of the human body, promoting hemoglobin (blood production that brings oxygen to the body’s cells) and aids muscular and brain function.
Kale is a fabulous fiber packed food that aids in digestions and helps keep your body filling fuller for longer. It’s filled with vitamin C that boots your immune system and along with its vitamin A and high antioxidant properties it helps fight against cancer, heart disease and chronic illness.
This leafy green is so versatile I try to include it into my diet wherever possible. One of my favourite ways is to turn it into yummy crispy chips. Perfect snack to enjoy with friends, replacing those addictive potato chips! You will be surprised at how delicious these actually are.
