Tastes like a chocolate milkshake …. only crunchy (I mean …. Healthy)

Who doesn’t love a good smoothie, better yet who doesn’t love a chocolate smoothie that’s smooth, creamy and packed full of antioxidants, super foods and is protein rich; perfect for a post work out drink or mid-arvo snack. I must admit I love a good smoothie. There is something about them that are just so satisfying, making you feel like you have indulged in something entirely naughty, but when made with all the good stuff there is definitely nothing to feel guilty about. This is my ‘go to’ smoothie after a hard sweat-sesh at the gym. It is important to get some protein in your body straight after for optimal muscle recovery so make sure you have a good quality protein powder that is clean and not full of added nasties. It’s also a great way to mix super foods into your daily diet. I don’t know about you but having a spoonful of maca powder straight from the container is just not my thaang! This smoothie is low fructose and both gluten and dairy free. Simple, fast and effective
